Surrounded by native bushland and the quiet rhythm of rural life, the property gives dogs fresh air, open space and room to roam, something a busy urban setting cannot match.
Every stay is shaped around the dog in front of us. We follow familiar routines, provide individual attention and create a relaxed environment where dogs can play, rest and feel secure while their owners are away.
The People Behind the Care
A lifelong passion for dogs, farming and animal care
Urban Tail Sitters is run by Toni and Peter, whose lives have long revolved around dogs, farming and animal care.
Peter is an experienced dog obedience handler with more than 20 years' experience in farming, bringing a practical, calm and capable approach to every stay.
Toni and Peter are registered Yorkshire Terrier breeders with Dogs NSW and active conformation show enthusiasts. Their experience helps them understand that every dog is different, from confident, high-energy personalities to nervous dogs who may need more time, space and reassurance.
Animals are not simply part of the business. They are a genuine part of their lives.

The farm is one of the biggest differences at Urban Tail Sitters.
Tucked into the foothills of the Watagan Mountains, the five-acre property gives dogs room to sniff, explore, play and settle into the slower pace of country life.
Open outdoor space is balanced with comfortable indoor rest and individual attention. Suitable dogs can enjoy supervised activity and group play, while care is adjusted around temperament, confidence, energy and routine.
It is not simply somewhere for dogs to stay. It is a country break designed around comfort, supervision and the individual dog.

Availability depends on capacity, suitability and the needs of the dogs already in our care. Every booking is discussed in advance so we can understand your dog's routine, temperament and individual requirements.
This helps us create a stay that is comfortable for your dog and suitable for everyone at the farm.
